There is no one in this world who can love us the way our mom can. There is no one in this world who can care for us as much as our dad does. Our parents are our true love. They are the one’s who wish us nothing but the best in this pretentious world.
We may not know how our parents got hurt every time we’re hurt. It’s hard for them to see us crying. They cry in silence. The depth of a parent’s love for us cannot be measured. It is no ordinary relationship. Good relationship with our parents is still the best kind of relationship. Our parents accept every bit of us including our flaws and imperfections. Even if we’re the most disgusting person on earth. As what they say, a father’s goodness is higher than the mountain, a mother’s goodness is deeper than the sea.
We may sometimes think they’re over protective but they only want what is best for us. Living in this integrated world where fun is the center of our lives we make sure to have fun as we could. We often forget if our parents are still having fun as well. We ask for a lot of things and sometimes our parents cannot provide us. By then, we complain. We sometimes say hurting words to our parents. Words we can easily say to them but hard to say to our friends. How sad is that.
Despite that all, whatever we do, our parents will always and forever love us. They will forgive us even without us asking for it. But let’s not let that happen. We need to love them as much as they love us. We need to pay back the sacrifices they made for us. It’s never late. Today, never forget to say good morning to your parents. Kiss them goodbye before going to school. Hug them tight the moment you went home. Slice the onions when your mom’s cooking. Massage your dad when he got home from work. What a tiring day for him. And the most important thing, tell them how much you love them before going to bed. For a very occupied day for them, a simple I love you from someone they love is a million thing they truly deserve.
